About HeatGearLab

Heating products are sold on adjectives. Manufacturers say "instant heat" and "ultra-warm"; the marketplace listing repeats it; the review site repeats the listing. Nobody publishes the watt draw, the run time at the setting people actually use, or how long the thing takes to warm up.

HeatGearLab exists to publish those numbers.

We cover heated apparel, heated bedding, space heaters and outdoor heating. Every ranking states the specification it ranks on, cites where that specification came from, and says who the product is wrong for.
